Hello, you!
I hope you’re well. Today I and the kids are sick with what seems like every winter virus -but Covid- blended together in a joyful mix, so I am just hoping that what I’m about to write will make any sense at all.
In case you missed our come back, here’s more about what happened the previous months at Objet:
My Collection.
I’ve decided to give this newsletter a new breathe. From now on, every week, I’ll be sharing an Objet from my own collection. “Like something from your closet?” Sort of.
Well, to be honest, it’s a pretty self rewarding exercise. Paying a small tribute to an existing object that I live with makes me feel good. It is:
a break from always wanting what you don’t have, #gratitudetime
a reminder of meaningful memories
comforting me in my own sense of aesthetics and future decision-making
Plus I love writing stories. I documented most of my previous trips, our wedding weekend countdown, the births of my two boys.
Of course I have exquisite taste, so it will be a weekly delight to sneak in my home, I am sure. But beyond me bragging, you can picture this closet opening process as part of my own therapy to be content, to be at peace with myself.
Without further ado, but with a bit of emotion and apprehension, let me introduce you to my number one, the fluffy leather coat.
About Objet.
Objet is a mobile app that helps you build your collection of possessions, so that you can train the skill of knowing what you want and need.
Objet is also a community of people who want to be at peace with what they have.

Decluttering Our Desires “My theory is that the explosive popularity of house-cleaning and bed-making gurus might have something to do with the ease of exterior ‘actions’ required to make progress. It’s like the popularity of fitness classes: ‘just tell me what to do’ is a common refrain.”
Til next week,
